Christiane Schmöller
Christiane Schmöller has worked in the wind industry for six years in the roles of project manager and product manager for different megawatt scale wind turbine platforms. In the role of project manager Ms. Schmöller was responsible for the successful establishment, technology transfer and training of an engineering team in China, as well as coordinating cross-functional teams including technical, sales, and procurement personnel on turbine requirements, target markets and material cost out. With engineering teams in Germany, China and the US, Ms. Schmöller realized the turbine adaptation to defined market requirements and state-of-the art of technology. As product manager Ms. Schmöller was responsible for design certification of turbine technology. Since 2005, in her position as project manager for a wind turbine design consulting company, Ms. Schmöller had been responsible for the coordination of mechanical design of new turbines including component specification and technical clarification with suppliers, and coordination of load simulation and design certification.
